Life isn’t worth living unless you’re willing to take some big chances and go for broke.
-Eliot Wiggington-

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

  1. Thanks so much for following my blog, and for commenting on my post.
I replied to your note, but if you don’t mind I’ll share my thoughts here as well:

I’m so very sorry that you have to share your life with this disease.

When I was going through my first medical crisis, in the 1970s, one of the first things I asked for was a book that television news journalist Betty Rollins had just written called “First, You Cry.” Reading how other people find their way is such a great help. Writing it out is, too.

Welcome to the blogosphere. I’ll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and I’ll look in on your blog to see how you’re doing.

Thanks so much for writing to me, and for reading TMSW.

    Take care!
